Sacred Men ~ Wild Edge
A Routine of Wild Belonging
There is a hunger in men today... a quiet, ancient ache to return to something we never learned, but somehow remember. A longing not to be fixed, but to be forged. Not to be taught, but to be tempered by fire, by silence, by the old paths beneath our feet.
For millennia, men have entered the forest not to escape, but to remember.
To gather around flame, walk the animal trails, speak the unspeakable, and listen deeply.

This is a monthly forest vigil for men who long for something real.
Something older than self-help, deeper than discussion, more vital than performance.

Carrying The Medicine Forward
I was first invited into ceremony by a circle of Veteran men at the Puyallup Tribe’s inipi lodge.
They were dock workers, railroad men, chiefs, and fathers... men who had seen war and returned still carrying something of themselves.
They didn’t lecture. They modeled.
Through sacred etiquette, tending fire, and the old language of storytelling, we each began to uncover something long buried...
A voice wanting to live in us.
A truth waiting to be remembered.
That was over 20 years ago.
Now, this vigil is how I carry that ember forward.

This is a monthly Forest Vigil for men where we:
-
Gather around fire
-
Be in ceremony
-
Engage in Story and Reflective Dialogue
-
Move through the forest trailing the animal paths that reveal the hidden layers of our own story.
-
We each connect, remember and awaken to our personal North... to the soul map we're uniquely navigating.
It's not about bravado... not about instructions... but through sacred etiquette we come into our own knowing.
